Professional Experience:
Dr. Lagji’s research focuses on postcolonial literature and theory, particularly in relation to temporality, migration, and futurity in African and Middle Eastern diasporic fiction. She is actively involved in interdisciplinary teaching and collaborates across campuses on initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a mentor, she is especially committed to supporting faculty from historically excluded backgrounds.
