What mentoring means to me:
For me, mentoring is about creating a supportive space for professional and personal growth. It means offering guidance during critical career stages, helping mentees set and achieve meaningful goals, and sharing strategies for both professional success and work-life balance. In mentoring, I strive to empower others to find their unique path in academia, especially in global health fields, where collaboration and cross-cultural understanding are key.
Topics I am Willing to Discuss with Other Faculty:
Beyond Academia: Consulting, Side Ventures, and Supplementary Professional Development
Creating a Sustainable Writing Practice
Teaching Design for Inclusive Excellence
Mentorship in global health policy and international research collaborations
Leadership development for faculty in global health programs
